The League Rundown

What Is a League?

Legacy League is a competitive, multi-week event designed for players who want more than casual skirmishes. Each season runs for five weeks and features a double elimination bracket, giving teams multiple chances to advance while keeping the pressure high.

Teams earn points for every match win, which are tracked on a running leaderboard. Points don't reset between seasons — they accumulate across all league play throughout the year.

At the end of the year, the Top 10 teams by total points will earn an invitation to compete in The Legacy Invitational — our highest-stakes tournament event, featuring the most consistent and competitive teams of the year.

Whether you’re chasing weekly cash prizes or working your way toward the long-game goal of qualifying for The Invitational, every match matters — and every round counts.

How to Join

Each Tuesday, teams compete in a double elimination bracket, meaning a team isn’t eliminated until it has lost two full matches. This format creates fair, structured matchups while still allowing teams a second chance to battle their way back to the top.

Teams earn points for each match win. These points accumulate across all League seasons and are used to determine overall rankings and qualification for The Legacy Invitational at the end of the year.

Players can register as a full team of three or sign up individually. Solo players will be placed on balanced teams prior to the season start. All participants must be registered in-store before the first match.

All matches are played as best 2 out of 3 series. The winning team advances in the bracket, while the losing team either drops into the lower bracket or is eliminated after their second loss.

Each Tuesday, the team that wins the bracket earns a cash prize, awarded based on nightly performance — not season standings or total points.

Once you're registered, just show up on Tuesday nights ready to play. Matchups and brackets will be organized on-site — no advance scheduling needed.

Legacy League Point System

Points are awarded and deducted based on in-game performance and rule enforcement. This system ensures that teamwork, objectives, and clean gameplay are all rewarded.

Positive Points

  • +25 — Player Elimination

  • +25 — First Flag Possession

  • +50 — Flag Hang (end of round)

  • +100 — Match Win

Penalties

  • –25 — Not Calling Hit (results in round ejection)

  • –50 — Second Hit Violation (per team; results in round loss)

  • –25 — Blind Fire

  • –25 — False Start

League Code of Conduct

Legacy League is built to be competitive, but respectful. To keep matches fair, fun, and focused on improvement, all participants are expected to follow a standard code of conduct:

  • Respect your teammates, your opponents, and the refs.
Trash talk is fine — targeted harassment is not.

  • Play with integrity.
Calling your hits is not optional. Teams caught cheating or abusing mechanics will be penalized.

  • No aggressive physical contact.
This is a competitive environment, but not a physical one. Unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal.

  • Follow all field safety rules.
Eye protection must remain on at all times in active zones. Barrel socks are required when not in play.

  • Referees have final authority.
Our refs are trained to monitor gameplay and ensure fairness. Arguing with a call will not affect the outcome — repeated issues may affect your team’s eligibility.

How the Season Works

  • Legacy League is structured in multiple competitive seasons throughout the year. Each season runs for 5 weeks, with matches held every Tuesday from 4PM–7PM. During each season, teams compete in a double elimination bracket, where you're only eliminated after two match losses.

  • All matchups are played as best-of-three series — the first team to win two rounds secures the match and advances.

  • Teams earn points for every match win, and those points carry across all league seasons throughout the year. Consistent performance over time increases your team's rank and chances of qualifying for the year-end invitational.

  • Each week, the team that wins the bracket earns a cash prize. It’s a chance to win short-term, while building long-term progress.

  • At the end of the year, the Top 10 teams by total points — earned across all league seasons — will be invited to compete in The Legacy Invitational, our highest-level tournament event.

The Legacy Invitational

Legacy League points don’t just impact weekly standings — they build toward something bigger.

Across multiple league seasons throughout the year, teams accumulate points by winning matches and showing up consistently. At the end of the year, the Top 10 teams by total points will receive an exclusive invite to The Legacy Invitational — a high-stakes tournament where the top teams compete for bragging rights, recognition, and serious prizes.

This isn’t just another bracket. It’s the result of every match played, every round won, and every season fought through. Only the most consistent, competitive teams earn a spot.

Here’s how it works:

  • ✅ Top 10 Teams Qualify by Total Points

  • 📅 Points Accumulate Across All 2025 League Seasons

  • 🏁 Tournament Date Announced in Advance

  • 🔄 Points Reset After the Invitational

If you're aiming for The Invitational, it starts now. Every season counts. Every match matters. Play smart, play often — and earn your place at the top.
